بر اساس بیانیه مشترکی که توسط دولت بریتانیا منتشر شد، ۱۴ کشور اروپایی اعلام کرده‌اند که دریای بالتیک را به روی ناوگان موسوم به سایه روسیه می‌بندند. این کشورها هشدار دادند که با نفتکش‌هایی که مبدا خود را پنهان می‌کنند، پرچم خود را تغییر می‌دهند، فرستنده‌های خود را خاموش می‌کنند یا بدون اسناد مناسب فعالیت می‌کنند، به عنوان کشتی‌های بدون ملیت رفتار خواهد شد. چنین کشتی‌هایی ممکن است بدون هیچ گونه خطر قانونی توقیف شوند. روسیه همچنین به دخالت عمدی در سیستم‌های ناوبری ماهواره‌ای، ایجاد تهدیدی جدی برای ایمنی دریایی و پیچیده کردن عملیات نجات در صورت بروز حوادث متهم شد. این بیانیه توسط بلژیک، دانمارک، استونی، فنلاند، فرانسه، آلمان، ایسلند، لتونی، لیتوانی، هلند، نروژ، لهستان، سوئد و بریتانیا امضا شده است.

Starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above mentioned Countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland), will be charged a 10% Tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1st, 2026, the Tariff will be increased to 25%.
